Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa -
Hope of Glory’s primary focus is to train local Trainers/Facilitators in a 4 week Discipleship Training School. Our Mission Statement is ‘To Know God and Make Him Known’.
One of the key elements of training is learning how to establish house churches throughout the country of Sierra Leone, in places such as the workplace, under a tree, in their home, on the beach, in a fishing village or at an isolated mountain top village, etc.
The vision is to multiply House Churches and take church (not the building) to the people where there is no church and to people that don't go and can’t go to church for various reasons. Our Facilitators learn that belonging to a fellowship of believers does not require a building, material things or fancy clothes.
For three months, June, July amd August, the facilitators will spend time refreshing, praying, attending leadership & business management workshops, organize student recruitment and continue teaching the ongoing Facilitator Training Schools before the next Joshua Nations Bible School season begins in September.
Taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to where the people live. Sometimes that journey is through rough country and over rugged terrain. Establishing house churches requires a commitment to God and to His commandment to ‘go’. Pray for our Facilitators.
